I like doing spectrum analysis of "bassy" scenes. People could post speclab results for specific movies/cd's.

There are currently more sections now than I can easily monitor. I retitled your thread and made it a sticky. That way it will stay on top of this section. So let's see your plots .....

My thinking was we could build up a library of bassy scenes that highlight the usefulness of an IB (deeper extension at useful levels). On HTF we had a big long thread with various movies all jumbled into one. Was pretty much impossible to find a specific movie and wade through the off topic posts. We can try a sticky though. See how the interest is. Another option is to add me as 2nd moderator for the 1 sub-board (Admin > modify board > moderators)

I like the idea... but perhaps the best method of making the info/thread useful would be to compile an independent webpage with a list of tracks and their spectrum analysis ... like Rudi B's bass.jawmail.org/ I don't know how active he still is, but maybe send them to him? Rob

Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, chapter 6 That is unbelivable.. That is like 2hz... That is the scene I was trying to see a waterfall part for. It made my sub bottom like mad when that scene happened.
