Hello all, After a week or so of reading, re-reading, then re-reading all the materials and posts I could, I think I have decided on going with an IB for my home theater, but still have questions. I have about a 3200 cu. ft. room, so am thinking of going with 4 IB318's. The room is 25'x16'x8', with attic spaces running along both sides of the entire 25' length (which are the sides of the theater), and the side walls are my only option to install a manifold(s). Each attic space has plenty of room to satisfy the Vas requirement for the 4 drivers. The question is: Generally speaking, would I be better served doing a single 4 driver manifold towards the front of one side wall, or 2 separate manifolds with 2 drivers each (1 on each side wall). Furthermore, if 2 separate manifolds would be better (for FR smoothing), should the manifolds be directly across the room from each other, or offset to mitigate any cancellation effects? Thanks!

Hi,
Although it's more work, having 2 drivers on each side is IMO the best option for that room layout.
We've not seen cancellation issues with opposed manifolds.

System is operational but incomplete - it is temporarily an open baffle.

With manifolds on each side of the room, you can do stereo subs, as compared to feeding them both the same signal. Depending on the source material, it might not make an audible difference. But sometimes it will
