Hi folks, I'm about to buy a BFD DSP1124P. This way, in case I need it, I will have it and the price being sold is not bad too. However, I'm worried about the guy I am working with locally(about 40 miles ). We talk now via email. I asked him if it was working and his response was "It has not been used in a year or so.... but the last time we used it, it was in working condition." Since I have never owned one, I really don't know how to have him test. Is there anything I can tell for him to run to he can test? If so, what instructions should I tell him? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Neil

As one would expect, the only way to test it is to power it up installed in a system and then see if all the functions work.

Thanks buddy. The person told me that his audio engineer will test it this evening then he'll call me tomorrow for the results. All he knows right now is that it was working last time they used and that was a year ago.
I'll keep you posted.
