Hi Thomas: I've got my 4 15" IB and just recently removed 12 4" thick 2' X 4' Rockwool panels from my theater room and replaced them with some professionaly made 2"thick 2 X 4 panels by AST. I now have a much more lively room as far as bass is concerned. I had planned on building tube traps in the front corners of the room on either side of the screen but now I want to build a procenium. I have approx. 1.5 feet on either side of the screen that I can stack 1.5' wide X 1.5' deep pieces of my old rockwool to the ceiling for bass traps. My concern is the absorption of the backwave of my new dipole L-C-R speakers. If I face the rockwool traps with lightweight plastic sheeting and then wrap with some kind of fabric, will they still act as bass traps without absorbing my L-C-R rear wave? Thanks for all you do for us! Harold

If you wrap them in plastic they will reflect some of the high frequencies and absorb the same amount of bass.
