I currently have an Oaudio TC2+ 15 that I'm interested in trading for an XLS12 and PR. Atlanta-ish would be ideal as the swap could probably be done in person, but I'm not limited to that. The driver is in its original box and packaging material.
I've used the TC2+ for about five hours (mounted with an MDF compression ring rather than screws, so the gasket and basket rim have no screw marks) in a listening comparison with a JBL W15GTi, but it is otherwise unused. I've decided to quit waiting to find a second one so I could do a push-pull sealed sub with them, and also I want something that takes up less floor space. So I'm going to build a slim (probably ~15" ~15" base) tower with four XLS12's (push-pull pairs on the front and back of the cabinet) with dual opposing XLS12 PR's on the side faces.
IMO, space permitting a single TC2+ 15 would be a nice upgrade from a single XLS12 + PR and probably from a pair of them as well, and if someone has one that would let me add a fourth XLS12+PR set to my current triplet.
The Thiele-Small parameters for Todd's TC2+ are different from the current TC1000. Fs is 17.7Hz and Qts is .37. The rest, for those more interested in enclosed use, are listed here.
If you currently have an XLS12+PR sub but are blessed with a place that will allow you to do IB, I would love to trade. Alternately, if you have a spare Oaudio TC2+ 15 and are interested in an XLS12 or two, I'd be willing to change my sub plans and go the other way, too. (I've been looking for a second TC2+ 15 to do a push-pull sealed sub - sorry, guys - but haven't found any for sale for over a year.)
