Hi Guys, Noob here... I'm considering an IB Sub in my attic space but my concern is in disturbing my neighbors. My attic space is vented with openings on the ends and the front as well as the typical under eve vents and a ridge vent. My nearest neighbor is about 60 ft and is on the end of the house where the sub would be. How much of a problem do you think it would be with a dual 18" set up at a reasonable movie watching volume?

Typically the insulation in the attic absorbs a much of the rearwave. Usually this translates to the output from the front of the IB (or any other kind of sub) into the listening room, being as loud or louder than the rearwave.
I guess the thing to do is take a regular sub and turn it to the output level you want, then step outside and give a listen.
