Thomas, I have three phase coming into the house so I'll take the first step of running a dedicated 15 Amp cct off one of the quieter phases (you know what I mean, not pool pumps etc) for the audio equipment. This is the new unit I'm trying to ensure has a clean supply picasaweb.google.com.au/lh/photo/G9PHAh7CVnHtHnU2sVQRTQ?feat=directlink but have to say it already sounding good without a clean suppy The only gripe I have about IBs is that they launch you on an upgrade path for the rest of your system. Thomas, The only gripe I have about IBs is that they launch you on an upgrade path for the rest of your system. Tell me about it! First, you have to define empty space for an enclosure you never knew you needed ... Then you have to fill that same volume with empty packaging. With each new purchase your Total Vas multiplier shrinks as fast as your bank balance. The empty boxes accumulate so rapidly that they suddenly collapse under their own gravity. The IB has now become the black hole of all subwoofers. Credit cards shrink noticeably as they are drawn inexorably down into the darkness. Finally remaining visible only as spiralling, empty packaging. Falling forever into the far future of your salary event horizon.

When it's not keeping you warm it's keeping you hot! It always surprises me how few people have heard of spontaneous combustion. ;D

A little pricy IMO, other than that it looks fine. Just be careful not to exceed the 10amp rating. That rating is low enough it rules out plugging in receivers or power amps.

Hi Thomas, After your comment on the price of the Thor PS10 I had another look around. I'm able to sourced Xindak power conditioner linked below in Oz for just over $600 AU , this looks like a much more cost effective option and it will accommodate the power amps. www.xindak.com/english/products/showditail.asp?id=255 Dave

It's a power conditioner/isolation transformer, not balanced power. 1200 watt rating won't power a very big amp.
People in the US frequently find used isolation trannys on eBay. Don't know if things like that are available in Oz
