Anybody see any problems using these amps for an IB? I have 2 of them. They put out 600 watts bridged At 8 ohms, or 300 into a 4 ohm load per ch. they don't say to bridge a 4 ohm load in the manual,....but they dont say not to either... I'm probably going to go with 2 Fi 18's for IB's for starting out. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I realize that if the amps dont like the 4 ohm load bridged, I will be down to 300 watts for each which would not be optimum for this setup. My room is rather small 14x15x8, actually on 93" tall..

Sorry I know nothing about those amps. Truth be told I didn't know EV made amps.
So give them a try and see what happens

Yeah, their older...1995 ish... Not sure if they were actually made by Electro-Voice or just re-badged for them to sell.... They weigh bout 35 lbs a piece so they should be stout... Nice 4.5" fan directed right across the transistor bank. Thanks again Tom... once again you ROCK
