How difficult can this be? The driver can slide about in the box due to lack of magnet retention. The magnet is the heavy part and wants to keep moving when the box stops.
The conical magnet just doesn't leave itself open to sponge packing unless a huge, deep block is used in the bottom of the box. Big = expensive.
All it really needs is a square piece of strong cardboard with edge flaps and a neat hole cut out in the middle for the parallel section of the magnet.
Fold the flaps down and insert packing board into box/carton. The flaps lift the main board, with its central hole, just enough to fit the parallel section of the magnet. Sideways magnet retention is now achieved.
This packing board could even be cut out of a plain cardboard with a hobby knife. If it doesn't warrant a packing company stamping them out.
A simple hand operated fly press could cut the magnet hole. Or a sharp-edged pipe, with simple top plate, hit with a mallet, can be used as a hole punch on a solid surface. It is cheap and cheerful and need take only moments to make.
You want even simpler? Four blocks of foam (or even rolled card) glued to the bottom of the box at centres of inside edges. Tall enough to lift a flat board to magnet level. Place sheet of strong card/board with central magnet cut-out on top of the blocks. Insert driver into central hole. Job done.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words but I'm not being paid for this. So words will have to do. ;D

Hi, really enjoyed my installation using two AE OB15's; this is lighter cone version of IB15. They ware really fantastic, used for music only, no HT, so two was plenty. Unfortunately, one of them burned (i think due to crossover problem) and really no luck trying to contact AE to get it fixed; got one e-mail back from John with questions, but no reply since...
Since I am now left in "silence" really would need to get some replacement ASAP; looks like repair service from AE is not really available at the moment...
Any suggestions would be really welcome; I am using my IB from 40hz to 120hz.

Tried that several times; the only number I got is one from his website (920 469-9198) but there is always a message that they are in process of making changes and phone support will be very limited. Would you maybe have any other number?
Any recommendation on possible hi quality driver substitute that could replace AE OB15"?

Would you maybe have any other number? Nope I don't have any recommendations for an IB driver being run that high. I imagine there are some prosound drivers that will do what you want, sorry but I don't pay attention to what those mfgrs offer
