That's easy. Simply invert the drivers on one side so the motors are inside the manifold. Some people even say this is the best way to do an opposed driver setup.
Many people on here have done it that way, also for clearance reasons like yours.

Pictures with dimensions would be handy

abosutely, I think I will start a build thread in the a.m. and get some pictures. These drivers have extremely deep motors. I think like 15 inches, they are split coil design. I don't think there would be room in the manifold for the motors....But, I'll just shut up and get some pictures and dimensions.. G'night!
