Ok, so my options are now greater than originally thought. I can also utiliz the ceiling and use the attic space as rear wave area. This also means that I can mess around with different placement options and use what works best. I am trying to gt the pics of the space off of my Iphone to post, but can't figure out how...can anyone help??

You need to have pict hosting service. I don't know of easy way directly from iPhone to send to hosting service, I either email myself and then upload from computer or connect via USB cable for mass upload. To access the cult from proboards app, I did below. Ok, simple, copy/paste the main URL into the pro board app, done. I honestly like this better than web browser.

Thanks guys for all the info...I think I have it now. Please see below:This is the fron wall where th ceiling and wall meet. The wall height is 9 feet and the small vault goes to 11'6"(a mod from the original plan). As you can see, I would probably have to go at least two ceiling joist bays back from the front wall before have the clearence to mount the manifolds in the ceiling. thoughts?? Attachments:

This one is the front wall of the room. The display will be mounted in the center of the two windows and the mains will be just outside each respective window. The center obviously under the display. This wall, once drywall is installed, will be 25'5" long. Attachments:

This is one of the two identical side walls of the room. Once drywall is installed, the room will be 19'6" from front to back. The side surrounds will be mounted just behind the window on each side. The opening on the left side of the pic(back corner of the room) will be an open staircase to the second level master area. So these three pics should be a good start I think. I can place the manifolds in the ceiling, anywhere around the room, so placement for best response and output combined can be had. In floor manifolds will restirct me to front wall only. The rear wave space in either situation will be 2300ft3 or so, plenty, I think for 8 fi ib3 18" woofers. Any thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated. Attachments:

They help a little. A copy of the floorplan would be more helpful.
Not sure why you're in such a hurry to research IB specifics, since it appears you're a year or more from having an operational HT system.
A lot can change in that time....

Thanks Thomas, for the comments. I will do my best, as you can tell, technology isn't my strong suit. I will be operational in far less than a year, 6 months at the absolute most. My framing is going to be complete as of this Friday and roofing, windows and siding will take place over the next few weeks. I am a little obsesive with getting the details of any project together and getting them together well in advance. I like to be well ahead of the curve.

If you can take a picture of the framing, you can take a picture of the blueprints (floorplan).....
