Knowing little beyond the recommendation for decent xmax and QTS in the 70 range I noticed this one as a possible budget 15 inch driver. www.parts-express.com/pyle-plbw154-blue-wave-15-woofer--267-087Pyle does not list xmax in the ts parameters. Who knows why? Is it that bad? I sat on telephone customer service for twenty five minutes and just gave up. There is an 18 inch version of the same woofer category that also neglects to give xmax spec. But if if the QTS is to be believed it looks like a possibility for a "budget" IB driver. No?

Not suitable for your needs There are thousands of drivers out there that won't work for an IB and very few that will.

Thank you Thomas. I am learning to appreciate that from here and a few other resources on the web. What throws me a bit is that often a few of these TS parameters come within very close proximity to the PE 15" dedicated IB sub. That driver seems to have a pretty strong following.

It used to be a state of the art driver. But it's a decades old design (technology) and the last samples I saw the build quality was less than inspiring.
