In addition we use a 'derated' max power when it comes to drivers mounted a IB subs. For example 325-350 watts max per Fi IB3. I'm looking at building a 2x18 manifold with the FI IB3, I'm, thinking 2, 4Ohms in parallel to achieve a 2 Ohm load. I may not be modeling it correctly in Unibox, Here is what I have for the inputs: If I'm using UniBox right (I don't think I am), then I don't hit max excursion unless I go past 600W each speaker I should be getting 350W each? do you know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

Model is fine. Don't think you'll need to bridge the amp though, one 4 ohm driver per channel should be fine.
BTW why is this posted in this thread rather than the one you started for your project?

Thanks Thomas. So, based on the model, the Max watts I can run 500-600? Why the 250-350watts max then? Ive seen 300w per FI IB3 posted by others as well. Just trying to understand the discrepancy between my model and what and why you and others are recommending 250-350w
I posted here because I thought it seemed relevant to what was being discussed, and I wanted to capture your quote. In the future, I'll post on my build thread. Thanks
Stephen
