Should be fine. I don't believe you need to be concerned with the location of the second box. But if you want to experiment, that's what we're all about....

Looks good..... How's it sound? Be sure to sign up on the IB owners map..... www.frappr.com/ibcultusaYour placement 'pin' won't show up instantly because I had to put moderator approval on new members, since spammers where signing up. Now when anyone signs up I get an automatic email asking to approve that member...

No eclipse subs , will be using 4 RL-ps 15" and EP2500 ;D Just as well. I'd listen to Dan on this one. If he says they sound like a fart, they probably do sound like a fart (a loud fart). You probably would have been disappointed. Best, Mark

Rodny, I have a 'bit' of fiberglass experience myself...... When I was a young man I worked with John DeAndrea. He's an internationally renown artist who specializes in life-size hyper-realistic sculpture of the human body.. All of the female figures in this photo and the link above are examples of his work. The models were cast with dental impression molding plaster, the molds were lined with fiberglass and assembled into the completed figure. We found that when the gel coat layer was 'hot batched' = 2-4 times more than the recommend amount to catalyst, the detail of the skin was captured better from the molds. I'm sure you understand the consequences of this 'hot-batching'... There was a corner of the studio where floor, ceiling, and walls, were lined with solid plaster 4" thick. When the hot-batch mixtures started smoking from the heat generated by the chemical reaction, we hooked the container with the brush and flipped the smoking container into the corner, where it immediately burst into flames....... Since his work sold internationally, my job was to travel the world and repair pieces where the stress of moving and gravity had opened up the seams of the sculptures. It was a very interesting job. After while I had to stop due to extreme headaches caused by working with the 'glass'.

Hmm... well, Dan has had much, much more exposure to car subs than I, so if he suggests something I'd certainly look into it. Nice numbers... if numbers made sound. Best, Mark

Nice install! Rodny is that your Bel Air? We used to have a '55 Bel Air, turquoise and white, but it was a 4 door. It got rear ended by a guy speeding and was a write off . It was the comfiest ride ever. I really miss it... Thomas, John Deandrea's work reminds me of Ron Mueck's www.creativepool-compensis.de/mood_art/mueck.html.

Thomas, WHAT!! ....those girls are not real....... That's pretty impressive!! The casts were of course made from real women. That was one benefit of the job.... ;D ......What you see in the pictures is all fiberglass, not human flesh. The painting them was the most difficult part. Oil paint hand applied. Glass eyes matched to eyes of the models. Matched wigs (for all the appropriate anatomical areas) One show we had both the sculpture pieces and the models in the gallery. Every few minutes the models would freeze in place next to their sculptures. That was quite bizarre for the viewers... Needless to say the pieces are very expensive, in the early 1970's Hugh Hefner bought one for the Playboy manson in Chicago. He paid $30,000, they're a bit more expensive now... That sounds disgusting.... Yes it does. Without doubt Mueck studied John DeAndrea's technique. Ron Mueck would have been a young teenager when I was working with DeAndrea.
