I ordered mine already. They should be here Today. It will be a while until they are ready to go though, because I am still in the building mode with my room. I ordered two and the O-Audio BASH 500w amp to drive them. Should be Awesome!!

I ordered 8 for myself and a Face 1200 to driver them. They should have arrived at my house on thursday but I am already back in Afghanistan and unable to even touch them until I return again in 7 months.
Good news for anyone questioning if they should purchase is that Kevin is great to work with and answer questions.
Later and thanks again Kevin. Chad

I'm sure you'll have plenty of things/people waiting for your return. Even though I don't know you, I can tell you I appreciate the effort/sacrifice you're making. It'll be nice to read about your project sometime around the new year .

Any Reviews on the DPL-15s? I am eager to hear. Mine are still in the box, and I am still building, and trying to pay cash as I go.

I am eager to hear aeview as well. I have 8 of them with a Face 1200 at my house waiting for me. Too bad it is about a year before I get to hear them.

I hope this question isn't too off topic.
I am planning on buying 4 of the DLP 15s for an IB setup in my house. However, I'm just renting the house with some friends and won't be here more than a year.
I am thinking how I will use the drivers after I move (probably to an apartment, not another house). Would these be suitable for some open baffle midbass speakers? I will be getting 4 of them and was hoping I could later build 3 open baffle speakers to help out my mains and center (all RS150/H1212 MTMs designed by CJD) and to use as stands. I would be crossing them all active probably from 60 to 300 or so. Definitely flexible on that. I know they have low distortion so I was hoping I could go at least to 200 to take some stress off my speakers.
Would this be possible?
EDIT: Okay, so I did a little research. Should have done that first. Looks like I'll need an effective baffle width of 60" (including wings) to hit 60 hz. Looks like I'll shoot for 80 hz with an effective baffle width of 40". Then I can make the face 20" and the wings 10". I'll post it up somewhere else when I get a design drawn out.
But if anyone has any experience using these drivers for OB, please message me, thanks

I did 2 dipole subs with my Ava 18" drivers. The baffles were like this I was getting ~105db down to 25hz feeding them about 500 watts each. That was with minimal eq, more corrective than just boosting. You can't see it there but the "wings" were only 6" deep.
