Are the 30Hz/50Hz LF filters defeatable on the Europower 1500 or 2500 amps?

I think that there is still a 3 or 5Hz filter built into the amp.

Should this be done? I left the low one enabled and I'm wondering if it is interfering with my REW settings?
So it is okay to turn it off?

If a filter is enabled it's rolling off the bass at either 30Hz or 50Hz.

Yes, it was. Huge difference in my curves with the 30 off. Can't believe I had left it on.

Related question- can these filters be easily modified? I'd like to put in a 10Hz or 15Hz filter, if possible.
Thanks, Ben

It's probably doable if you have access to the Behringer schematics or are inclined to tear apart your amp and experiment.

thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always wondered why the bass goes away on the lower end and I thought that I had the filters off.
It is all so clear now.
If it wasn't so late I'd fire up the system and hear what I've been missing.
You know when in LOTR the bass starts going down down. Now I'll finally get to hear it go all the way
Hurray.!
Can you tell I'm excited?

Heh. Do NOT do this Setting 3/8 to the right engages the highpass filter, contrary to the manual. I just checked it on mine and the bass was all gone with it set to the right. I recall someone on another forum saying it was backwards and it definitely is. Edit- maybe it depends when the unit was made?
