What amp would power 8 TC Sound TC-1000 15" drivers to peak performance. My room is a little over 13' wide and 21' long. It is a split level house and I have approximately 41" of clearance underneath my HT floor. I was planning on building two 8 drivers per manifold towers with an obvious 2 per side arrangement using the 17" by 17" example shown in the picture archive. I was think Crown or QSC amps but I am open to other suggestions. Also if you guys think there is a better "for IB" 15" driver than the TC Sound TC-1000... I'm all ears. Please be as detailed as possible including make, model, wattage and wiring. I currently have a older M&K THX 5000 system with two THX 5000 subs that I purchased many years ago (MSRP was 13k) and it sounds great but has never had the punch I have always been craving. The goal I have is to achieve that rock concert like punch in the chest that you feel at a live concert. I mostly watch movies on my 155" screen but that is the best analogy I could think of in the kind of performance I am seeking. I have been in the hobby for over 20 years but am VERY new to IB concept. I am extremely excited to think I may finally be able to reach that promised land where unthinkable bass exists. Please give me some advice along these areas. Many thanks... Dirtyharriet

We have a "My Projects" forum so people can post all questions about their projects in one thread. This keeps all questions asked and answered in a central location. That way people reading along know what's been discussed without jumping all over the place. So I'm going to lock this and your loudspeaker thread. I'll start a thread for you in the "My Projects" section and answer some of your questions there. Here's your thread ibsubwoofers.proboards51.com/index.cgi?board=projects&action=display&thread=1180376705&page=1
