A bit late, but I'd say that Yorkville's Audiopro amps are miles better quality than Behringer's imported stuff. They're made in Canada, not China, so there's a lot less chance of counterfeit and underspec parts. They have a nicer look and feel too. The main drawback of those models is the peculiar airflow path, with the fan on the side. Owner's manual can be found here: www.yorkville.com/default.asp?p1=6&p2=120&p_id=115Service manual: www.yorkville.com/default.asp?p1=6&p2=121&p_id=116I don't remember how noisy they are, though. One amp I can endorse is the Peavey PV8.5C. The two-speed fan is just about inaudible on low speed. In hot weather, or during severe action movies it would kick up to full speed. AB Precedent 900II... was very quiet until I noticed that the fan was not in fact rotating. When I replaced it, it howled. Cutting out the slotted fan grill should reduce the siren effect.
