Problem with IB subs directly above LCD TVs?

I'm still kinda working my way around this forum, and the search function doesn't appear to work. Please forgive me if this has already been asked a million times.

I see that most people around here seem to favor Projection screens. I have to believe that is for one of three possible reasons:

1) Maximum size, minimum price

2) DIY nature of said device

3) Possible interference with TV screens

Somebody please tell me that #3 won't be an issue with my 52" LCD.

My family room IB is floor mounted, the manifold opening is 36" from the center of a 52" Sharp Aquos......There are no problems at all with this situation.
