I'm wondering how many of you either have or wish you'd have multiple EQ settings for your IB? Possible uses may include settings for movies with the wife and/or kids present (somewhat restrained), you and buddies only (all out), and various music curves for different genres.
Reason I'm asking is that the Behringer FBQ2496 is easier to program but only has one stored bank of settings, whereas the DSP1124P allows multiple banks but is somewhat harder to set up. Trying to decide which one to buy.

Nope and I have an 1124. I use the "hard knee housecurve" as proposed by wayne phlughaght (sorry wayne, spelling) on the REW forum.
That seems to give the low end kaboom for movies while still keeping bass natural in the 40-100hz range for bass guitar, upright bass, etc.
I tried 6,9 and 12db boosts at 20hz as chrisbee has mentioned. It adds some "blammo" but it's not really "better", just more thud in the bottom end.
I don't desire other curves that would somehow correlate to "rock" or "jazz". What would those curves even look like?
