Been browsing through the forums and finding a lot of links no longer work. However, I believe something like this, Furman MP-20Q Power Relay Accessory will serve the purpose of turning on my IB amp remotely with 12v trigger out from my main amp. Any recommendations on other options? I intend to use a Behringer EP4000 to power 4 IB318's.

Alas, my IB amp will have its own circuit and will be in another room so I need a remote option. It looks like the Xantech AC1 and Niles AC3 would work as well. I could build one from scratch I suppose using a relay and a few other components, but I prefer the idea of going with a prefab on this.

System is operational but incomplete - it is temporarily an open baffle.

All of my amps are in the basement under my media room. I got a 12VDC power supply with a power cord, a little bigger than a wall wart. The amplifiers are divided into four groups: front & surround, speakers & subs. Homebrew wiring: Master switch turns on 12VDC power supply and amplifier fans. Four more switches control the four groups. Total of 9 amplifiers on 5 circuits on sub-panel. Those amps that have a 12VDC trigger use it, those that don't have a 12VDC relay inside the electric box with the outlet that the amp is plugged into. Keep in mind that for movies from the 1930s & 40s, there isn't much for the surrounds or subs to do, thus no need to have them powered on. Additional embellishment: more relays in the signal path drop out when the subs are turned off to bypass the crossover, and send full range signal to the speakers. Overkill? Because I could. (evil laugh)
