New to all this but creating an IB intrigues me. I'm not an audiofile but love good sound and am a capable DIYer. I have a JBL PSW-D115 ported sub that i've replaced the plate amp with a Yung SD300 300W amp. The box is huge and i need to get it out of my living room so want to do an IB in the attic. Would like to know if this driver/amp combo would be decent. I can get another one and make a short manifold box for the pair of them, or just put this in a braced part of the attic firing downwards. The room is roughly 19' x 18'. I dont need to wake up the neighbors but i want enough bass to know the speaker is there.

Can't find any T/S parameters for the driver. That said I don't think a driver designed by JBL for that sub would have enough Xmax to work in an IB, you'd probably end up with a paperweight.
