Need you guys quick guidence in making sure I'm not making a expensive mistake. I've purchased the 1124p and a QSC RMX1450. I feel pretty comfortable with those two items, however on the subs I'm talking with Mike at SoundSplinter on the rlp15's. He's willing to give me a slight discount on 6 over the price on the website of 2 or more. That said I could go 6 but he only has 4ohm availble in that quanity. I think the SPL would help running 6 vs 4 as I'm slightly over 4400 cu. ft. of space and worry that 4 just might not be enough. Now where I need your advice/help is can I wire 6 of these without creating a problem? I'm looking at the following for a wiring diagram and see the only viable wiring options would be www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html?subs=3&impedance=DVC4x2which delivers a 2.67ohm load. My question is would I have to run the RMX1450 in 2ohm mode to support this or are there some other wiring or load option I could use with the amp? Here's a link to the specs of the amp if your not familiar with it. www.qsc.com/products/amps/rmx/rmx.htmJeff

There's almost 4L of displacement per driver. So if you're into overkill buy 6.
Yes that's how you'd wire them to get that load.
There is no such thing as a 2 ohm 'mode' for the amp. The amp simply sees whatever the load is...

Alright I've decided to start with 4. Since you say 6 is overkill I'll take your word for it, although I didn't think overkill was in your vocabulary If I'm not happy with the results I can always buy the 2 additional and add them later. I'll be adding images and updates to my project thread shortly. Thank you Thomas..... Jeff
