Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has anything to say about the suitability of a Crown CE4000 amp for subwoofer duty ?
Are they any good in the lower frequancies ? Has anyone tried one before ?
Thanks guys.

We don't have much info on them since they were more $$$ than the Behringers, and if I recall correctly there were reliablity problems with the early versions.

Yeah i have a Behringer EP2500 at the moment but i am unhappy with the quality of it and am after something a lot more reliable.
Plus i want moore head room at 4 ohms as the behringer is actually under powerd for my aplication and i dont want to get another one and have 2 because i want to try something diffrent anyway.

By most accounts (including the Binks test) they are great amps. If you can find one used for $600-700, I'd go for it in a heartbeat.
