In the May issue of electronic house there is a $250,000+ home theater that has what I believe to be an IB. Here is exactly what it says: Beneath the floor and firing up through 3 foot long vents are two 18 inch 140 watt JBL subwoofer that each weigh 1000lbs. They are suspended in a concrete chamber beneath the floor and hang on straps so they are acoustically isolated and don't cause vibration in adjoining structures, it took seven men and a crane to get them in there. From the pics you can barely make out some slots on the floor, but no pics of the actual woofers. It doesn't say exactly where the house is but the work was done by Tailored Technology in San Jose, Ca. Just some interesting info.

Doesn't sound like an IB, if the drivers are suspended in mid air then the front wave isn't separate from the back wave.
