How about four TC-2 15" models for $50 each plus shipping? They are the same model that Rich Kraus runs in his HT. -Robert

Thanks, Mike

Found the parameters. I would love to take these from you. I assume they are in great working condition, but tell me if there are any problems, cosmetic or mechanical. ?/10 scale would be good also. Please send total with shipping to 89441, and let me know what payment methods you accept. Do you have any feedback anywhere I can hang my hat on? Paypal could be sent immediately if you accept, my preferred way. Thanks J

I'll get a shipping quote from UPS and post it here late tomorrow. They are in perfect working condition. In fact, 3 of the 4 have only been run for 10 minutes. The 4th has about an hours worth of play on it. Cosmetically, they are perfect. I can provide pictures if you want. I was all ready to install the manifold when I decided that I would take it to the extreme. The sale of these should fund a portion of the new super IB. Feedback. I'm also rlj5242 at Ebay or Robert_J at Home Theater Forum where I've done some buying and selling. At AVS & Tivo Community, I'm rlj5242. I have a lot of posts under my belt and I sure don't want to do anything to ruin my reputation. Finally, PP is my preferred method. I'll get a total posted here ASAP. txsmoke, I have a pair of 15" Cerwin Vega V-Max subs (4 ohm DVC) if you are interested. They are the older model with fake chrome cone and reddish/pink surround. Ugly as sin but check out the specs - link. Fs of 17 hz, a Qts of .47 and 20.3mm of xmax. I bought them based on those specs and have been pleasantly surprised with their performance. I'm running them in 3.5cf sealed boxes now with 300w to each. With a 15 hz sine wave, I can shake the entire house. I could do $65 each plus shipping for them. -Robert

I would take those CV subs off your hands. Zip is 21666. Paypal is fine.

My first inclination is to say "Stop waving your finger like you're my mother and kiss my you-know-what", Zapper. But I am going to assume I am overreacting to your chastising. But in case I'm not, last I checked, this *was* a free market. However, I wasn't trying to take them out from under you. I was expressing interest in case you decided you weren't interested. Kind of like what htnut is doing.
Mike
PS- I'm not interested in the CVs.

FYI, should people continue manifesting the adolescent behavior shown here, they'll be looking for subwoofer design assistance on a different forum.

Hey Thomas, What do you think about these TC-2 subs for the first time drivers? I looked them up and their specs are better than the others I can afford right now ;D. I will try and post pics as I go along. Will have the boxes painted and ready to install by the weekend. Thanks J

TC2 are fine for an IB.
Are these direct from TC Sounds or are they ones sold by Stryke/AE?

Thomas, These were directly from TC Sounds. Built by Stephone Ponte and sold on the Madisound board. They are a TC2, not a TC2+. Lower BL, higher Qts sub. According to SP, they have about 16-17mm of xmax.
Besides the 4 that I have and Rich's pair, I have only seen one more pop up on Ebay.
Zapper, Based on UPS site, each box costs $21.84 to ship from 38672 to 89441. To keep things simple, just round down to $20 shipping each. So the total will be $50x4 plus $20x4 = $280. If this is acceptable, just Paypal me the money to rlj5242@yahoo.com. I can drop them off at UPS later today or tomorrow at lunch.
htnut, Based on UPS site, each box costs $15.34 to ship from 38672 to 21666. keep things simple, just round down to $15 shipping each. So the total will be $65x2 plus $15x2 = $160. If this is acceptable, just Paypal me the money to rlj5242@yahoo.com. I can drop them off at UPS tomorrow at lunch.

No do not post tracking numbers, use PM's or email for that data
Posting them is an invitation for someone to intercept the packages unless they're sent requiring a signature

OK, Go ahead and email me the tracking numbers, I have the little icon under my name. Worked out preety well for you, hah. What are you doing for this new monster IB?

The IB will be at least six 15's. Maybe eight. That means I needed DVC 4 ohm models.
I also have enough sub motors to build six TC-3000's. I need to call them to see if the TC-3000 top assemblies are on sale like the completed subs.
Tracking numbers sent and I'm headed to UPS in about an hour.
