I bought both the DEQ2496 and the FBQ2496 before I built my sub. Well, the sub is complete (12cu. ft. sealed enclosure with 4 Tempest-X drivers) and I've decided to use the DEQ2496 and sell the FBQ2496. I realize its no an infinite baffle, but it sure does rattle the walls and is much better than my prior sub (HSU VTF-3 MK3 with Turbocharger). But back to my question. Everyting seems to work on the DEQ2496 but the two stacked LED meters on the left and the pages 1 & 3 meters on the LCD show no signal. Does anyone have a clue as to what I'm doing wrong. I'm using the balanced sub output from my preamp, going to the balanced right input to the DEQ, then from the DEQ balanced output to my EP2500.

Well, I put the FBQ2496 back into the system and the meters on that don't work either. So I'm doing something wrong. Any idea?

What made you choose the DEQ over the FBQ.
I am not familiar with either and am curious.
thanks
