still playing with my amp, havent dug into my setup too much, but channel 2 doesnt work. playing with it i've found that the positive on the second channel does not work. when i hook positive on channel one to negative on 2 it works, or pos and neg on channel one, everything is fine. now, i have ripped open the amp to replace the fan with the panaflo and thats fine, so i took out the white wires from channel one and two, and hard wired my subs directly to them, bypassing the binding posts and it works. so is my circuit board screwed or should i try the speakon connectors, or just take out the whole assembly and just run my speaker wire directly to the circuit board for each channel?

Hi Greg (just presuming here) I can't offer any technical advice, that is Thomas W's department. I can, however, appreciate your frustration. I currently have two pieces of Behringer equipment, an A500 amp and CX2310 crossover, that I believe are faulty I have resisted the urge to pull them apart, so far, as I do not want to void warranties. I feel sure that Behringer have some secret method of determining whether unauthorised lid removal has been undertaken , so be careful. I think I will return them in due course for repair/replacement. Cheers, Jim.

Hard to diagnose from thousands of miles away.
If this is a new unit put it back together and return it under warranty. If it was bought used, then a tech with schematics needs to bench it.

That really is odd, hard to imagine binding posts being the issue. Are you sure you have your dip switches set correctly?
