Which IB driver

I am helping a friend of mine with 2 rooms. I have convinced him to go IB since his wife wants no "black boxes" in room. He isn't putting much into them but I got him to go for 1 baffle per room with 2 15's at about $150 or so each powered by a channel of an EP4000. Total about $1000 spent before wood etc.

Since FiCar is moving and as of yet are not available is there a similar cost and performance alternative? The only one I see is the Dayton 15" IB from PE (and the other Daytons).

Is this or another driver a good alternative or do I need to wait for FiCar. I did look at the AE driver, but as I am personally waiting on an AVH from them for over 3 months I don't want to get into that mess again. Especially with someone elses money!

The PE IB drivers are 1990's technology. They came out about the time Adire Audio created their Tempest and haven't been upgraded.

My recommendation is wait until Fi has product or buy from John @ae if he has product
