manifold orientation ?

Would there be any benefit to a manifold rotated 45 degrees from the normal manifold orientation ? Are there some acoustic losses associated with having 2 drivers opposing one another in the manifold ?

No benefit at all. It's actually counter productive since drivers mounted in opposition cancel a lot of mechanical that otherwise shake the structure

Nope no losses. The output from the drivers sum and it functions like one larger driver
