I have what I hope to be a quick question for those more experienced with IB setups than I. I am in the planning stages of my future theater and want to incorporate IB into it. The problem lies in the space requirements for the back wave. I have attached a picture of my current plans. This plan involves (4) FI IB3's in manifold configurations. My concern is the depth I have directly behind the baffle wall. I plan to install double 5/8s drywall on each side (exterior side away from drivers) of the enclosure. This leaves me 30" from back of drywall to back of drywall (23" between framing). This space leads to a larger area which totals up to give me about 6.5x Vas.
Does anyone see any issues with the space or lack there of? I assumed as long as the front and rear wave are separated and the volume is sufficient that this design would work. Hopefully I assumed correctly. Thanks in advance.

It's attached.
You can't expect a pdf file to show up as if it were a graphic file.
Lots of IB's built that way.
Were it me I'd probably build it as a front facing line array just to gain more space for the rearwave

I will look into the line array. The one thing I was concerned about with a line array were the mechanical forces it can exert and how to counteract those in the way they are mounted.
