I am getting close on my room, waiting on carpet and finishing up. We watched several movies and the IB really rocks. My reciever has Audtssey x32 and can adjust two seperate subs. I have a Klipsch ksw300 that I no longer use and was wondering if I would gain anything by putting it in the back corner of the room. I also considered putting it in the center of the room behind the second row of seats. What do you guys think?

Wow, tough one. If I recall, that's a vented 15", and at least 10-15 years old. It's worth experimenting with, I'd high pass it so it wouldn't be stressed by any big effects, and roll off the top a bit so localization wouldn't be an issue, but it may offer some good benefit with potential modal issues. The last thing you want is to step backward in apparent quality, but give it a try for sure.
Nearfield, so that it's demands aren't so great, but don't allow it to draw attention to itself.
Good luck

Thanks foh. I put it behind the second row and think i liked what it did. Seemed to add some ipper bass impact but not too much. I think i'll try the corner next.

Interesting, Chambers, do you take measurements (REW/etc).
If so, Have you taken readings of the IB sub by itself and then with the second sub?
I'd love to see what xt32 is doing in you space. I've read with 2 subs xt32 will avg them.
2nd thought, do you use PEQ?
If so, I'd wonder if you have just some problem freq identified, and would consider using that sub as a helper sub to fill in your nulls.
Using PEQ, use filters so that 2nd sub gets passed freq you have issues with, put the sub in your MLP seat, sub crawl to find its best wall location, and put it there.
Measure and compare.
I'm thinking to do that in my set-up, but don't have spare sub just yet.
