What i would appreciate if somebody could give me an idea of which frequencies to adjust and by how much gain to improve my issue (explained in the link above) just as an experiment before getting into posting plots etc.

Might create a generic filter 1/2 octave wide with +3dB of boost, then experiment with different frequency settings. Beyond that do it the right way using measurements when you have them.

Ok I'll have to wait and do it the proper way it's just that I feel it's going to be a bit time consuming so I thought I'll try a short cut. If I'm not getting enough punch that would mean I could boost (gain) +db around the 50-60hz? Just a wild guess for now. I will post a plot soon as I get my equipment together but untill then if anyone could suggest boosting those or any other frequencies in the mean time please let me know.
