Should I bother for a horn for the IB?

Happy new year guys. I have been on the forums for over two years now. Made myself an IB with two FI 18s. Got the most amazingly smooth bass.
my build thread is ibsubwoofers.proboards.com/thread/1773/ib-stone-concrete-semi-basement
But for the movies the IB did not exactly shake the room. I cross overed at 120hz and that made it a little better.
In the meanwhile i got some problem with termites and moisture in the Home theatre so i had to rip a lot of things. It has given me an opportunity to rethink.
I had earlier installed the drivers over the screen. about 12" below the ceiling. Now i am planning to shift the drivers to the floor below the screen to the get gain from the floor.
i really enjoyed reading a thread on ceiling IB and that gave me a lot of insights. One of the conclusions of that thread was installing another pair of drivers. That is something that i would like to avoid as much as i can, because getting drivers to india is prohibitively expensive.
That also set me thinking if i could make a horn for the drivers. I have read else where that the length of the horn for low frequency should be really long. i was thinking that i could make the horn in the back room which i am using as a "box". It is probably cheaper for me to make the horns rather than get two more drivers. I could possibly make a 4m long horn.
I would like to know if it is at all a feasible idea, and what lengths are we talking about here. I have also read that the horn itself can cause a distortion, so is it at all advisable to go for it in the first place.
Any advise will greatly appreciated…. as always.
Thank you.
