Hi all.
Putting 8 Fi318's in room. 4 up front and 2 each in each rear corner. The rear corner enclosures are ~145.8cuft each. Each corner will have two 318's. This equates to roughly 5.4x VAS. Is this too little? Will I suffer any issues? Would loading the "enclosures" with batt-insulation help ?
Thanks, Rob

Per the FAQ, anything over 4x VAS is acceptable. The main effect is more amplifier power needed to push the drivers to xmax. You can easily see the trade-offs if you model the system in Winisd. The Q of the system is raised in a smaller enclosure, but this may be moot with EQ. Batt insulation will help to lower the Q.

Since an IB enclosure is so large, to what degree should one fill it with insulation to be effective/make a difference? Should it be completely loosely filled or packed???

Stack, do not compress the insulation
