I will be making two manifolds, with two drivers each for a total of four drivers, mounted near the floor below the screen. I am thinking either the IB318 or the IB315. I have a limited space for the IB chamber, and am wondering which is a better choice. The IB chamber volume is about 7500 liters, or 381 cf. With four IB318 drivers, this leaves the IB volume at about 5x VAS. The IB315 would leave the IB volume at 10x VAS. The theater volume is about 60000 liters (24' x 13' x 9').
So, would you do 4x FI IB318s with an IB chamber of 5x VAS? Or 4x FI IB315s with an IB chamber of 10x VAS?
Thanks, Thomas

Hi,
In the real world 5X Vas vs 10X Vas isn't as big a deal as the numbers would seem to indicate
Other than potential output level I doubt you'll hear a significant difference between either setup.
If budget is a concern go with the 15"s. If budget isn't a concern get the 18"s, that way you'll probably never run out of headroom
