Hi.
Just wondering if there is any limit (other than driver ability) to how high one could go with an IB sub/woofer system.
For example, could I get up to 300Hz or so?

For example, could I get up to 300Hz or so? Sure but you'll probably need to use a woofer instead of a sub driver. Unless the IB is time aligned and on axis with the mains the stereo image will be smeared even then the potential for things to sound weird is high. The only way to pull this off would be to have the driver mounted on a flat baffle (wall) as opposed to placed in a manifold.

Thanks Thomas.
The drivers would be installed on the face of a step, with the mains directly above them. So they could be time-aligned either physically or electrically.
I would be looking at drivers that can get up reasonably high, like some the Acoustic Elegance models.
