Hello All, Wow it's been some time! I've been enjoying my IB for many years now but recently my Behringer EP4000 amp decided to take an early retirement so I have replaced it with the Intimidation VLV-800 which came my way FOC - Yipeeee Initimidation VLV 800 Power Amplifier 2U Rack Mountable 2 x 400w Output @ 4 Ohms 2 x 250w Output @ 8 Ohms RCA Phono, Jack and XLR Input Connections Speakon and Binding Post Output Connections Input Sensitivity : 1000mv S/N Ratio : 84 dB Short Circuit Protection Thermal Cut and DC Fault Protected Weight : 9 Kg Dimensions : 482 x 301 x 88mm (2U) On paper it sounds like a decent amp but I thought I would ask some more experienced members their thoughts before I chuck it into my rack. I think it's going to sound OK as it weighs a fair bit Also I foolishly disconnected the speaker cables and can't remember if I had my speakers wired in parallel or a series. They are a pair of Fi 18's from around 5 years ago so any advice on how to wire this amp up would be appreciated. Cheers!

Don't have a clue about the amp. Virtually nothing about it via Google either.
Can't comment about wiring the drivers without knowing their impedance

If the wires are still connected to the drivers I would think 1 sub per channel would be safest. Can that amp be bridged?
