Have two Fi 18's 4ohm each in manifold driven by EP4000. Running one on each channel. Have dip switch 4 and 5 in parallel inputs and feeding EP4000 with one input from a Mini-DSP channel.
I have other subs in the room and while aligning with REW, the new IB by itself (at the MLP) is falling off aggressively under 30hz (with some bumps on the way down.) I believe I have all the EP4000 dips switches correct for what I'm doing, but want to confirm with anyone on the forum who knows. Haven't moved the mic around yet, but want to confirm dip switches before chalking it up to a null at the MLP. My PB16 fixes it as well as my rear subs, but WTF. It is 4 feet back from the mains firing into the room from the right side wall. MLP is 14 feet back from mains.
I have switch 1 clip limiter OFF Switch 2 is in 30hz position, but Switch 3 low cut filter is OFF Switch 4 and 5 are ON Parallel Inputs noted above Switch 6 and 7 are Bridge mode OFF Switch 8 is low cut filter OFF Switch 9 is in the 30hz position Switch 10 is clip limiter OFF
This above is correct, correct?? I saw some threads on Behringer having the labeling wrong on these, but this is a new EP4000.
(On a side question, should I leave clip limiter ON? I think I'm far from clipping this amp regardless, but didn't want any circuits interfering at this point.)
Thanks for any input.

Yes the FR will falloff the same as a sealed boxsub (since it is a sealed box) unless you get boost from room gain. This is why we use multiple subs capable of handling a fair amount of electronic boost.
AFAIK you have the switches set correctly
BTW sorry I missed your post, for some reason my browser wasn't refreshing pages correctly

So when you say electronic boost, I basically did boost up/EQ the 10-30 hz range in my minidsp, and it sounds pretty darn good and powerful now. But is this what you are saying by boost...to eq the lows up? I've always avoided too much boost on any EQing curve. (But this IB project is new to me.) Also did flip the clip limiters on for the heck of it on the EP4000. No audio change I can hear (or measure), but is that the recommended settings. Thanks

Yes boost = increasing output.
What started this whole IB thing was me needing low bass in a room with no space for a bunch of big subs. So floor mounting an IB and having one of the only analogue EQ's with a 10Hz hinge point gave me world class bass in my HT!
