I posted this in another thread but thought it might deserve it's own. Dont ask me why. This sub looks lilke it would work good. www.reaudio.com/html/It's the SE15 and RE is having a group buy on them in December where you can get one for $167 shipping included. Here are the T/S parameters from their sitefor the SE15: Fs: 22 Qms 4.3 Qes .55 Qts .49 Mms 229g Vas 209 Spl 88 Sd 810 disp. .17 cuft What do you think of these Thomas? That seems like a pretty good buy compared to what else is out there right now. I could start stocking up now for my IB by adding these to my Christmas wish list. ;D For more info on the group buy, check out soundillusions.net.

If RE ever grows up enough to have a website that's easy to navigate and posts complete T/S parameters then I'll consider recommending their products

Their site is very bad. I found this info on one of their distributors sites. Reading the group buy deal, the $165 includes shipping. I don't have any interest in these, just thought I'd share what I found.

So regarding the .17 cu ft displacement noted... is that the volume of the woofer takes up for box design purpose or do these things really pump 4.8 liters?
If the former, why do they not offer an xmax in the specs? Some of their drivers have an xmax listed, some a displacement spec?
I have to agree with Thomas, the website leaves me with more questions than answers.
lhreeves Answered my questions. 18mm xmax = not that great a deal.

With only 18mm xmax, how are they figuring 4.8l of displacement?

the XXX series have XBL motors and look like great drivers but when you can't even get a straight answer on price from them or any of their dealers who wants to buy their products...
