Is that too low to raise with eq?

Yes. The only way to get that "Q" raised is by using series resistors.
Those ebay drivers aren't that great a deal for a home IB. Wait for the $200 18"s from Ascendant

Wait for the $200 18"s from Ascendant I hope your right because that's what I'm waiting on to do my IB. I figure 4 of those would work nicely. I can wait a couple of months if it means getting a driver that's designed for the purpose. Hopefully the price is right and doesn't price a lot of us out of good IB setup. It certainly looks promising. Then the question will be are they designed to work better in a line array or will a manifold setup be recommended. I guess the manufactor will answer that when the time comes. I'm sure either will work I just wonder with a high Xmax like I suspect they will have if having that spring effect from a opposing driver will be desired/wanted. Jeff

And you think there's a difference in these because?
There is no spring effect from the opposing driver.

And you think there's a difference in these because? It's been mentioned that some drivers aren't designed to be fired in a downward position. I can't remember what brand or brands were named. Granted I know not all line arrays are horizontal but in my case it would be. This was a misconseption on my part then. I thought that was one of the benefits of the manifold. In my head I was picturing it working something like a isobaric configuration but with the drivers working against one another. Lots to learn, that's why I'm here. jeff

There are formulas on the Adire and PE websites for determining sag.
Manifolds cancel the mechanical vibrations from the drivers. They also provide a easy way to get multiple drivers mounted in a relatively small space.
The drivers in a manifold combine and function as one much larger driver.
