Hello, I got a great deal on 2 JL Audio 15W3 D2 drivers(BNIB for $200). I need to know if the T/S parameters are favorable for an IB alignment. I don't know what to look for. Also will the output be plenty for a 14' by 18' room? I will be using a 500 watt plate amp. Here is a link to the T/S of these drivers. mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/15_18_W3_MAN.pdfI would love to mount these in the atticto save room and aesthetics if it will work good.

They'll work fine in a IB
We don't have enough hands-on experience with JL drivers to say if they'll have enough punch for you needs/wants. The standard the recommendation is for 4-15" to be on the safe side...

I used 2 JL Audio drivers before I bought my Avalanches just for kicks a couple of years ago. Sound quality was awesome (turned a couple of people into IB nuts even), but only 2 drivers limited punch. They were the old W4 models, but definitely increased my IB appetite. If you use them just please learn from my mistake and make your manifold easily upgradeable for the future.

Maybe I will look for another deal on 2 more as well and make the manifold ready for 2 more. Thanks for the responses.
