PE/Dayton IB385-8 15inch ok for horizontal?

Is the Dayton IB385-8 15inch found at Parts Express (295-455) suitable for horizontal installation in a ceiling--firing down? The pitch of my roof is 1 in 4 so I could only put a manifold 6-ft to the side, directly over, or somewhere behind the listener. I am now thinking that ceiling mount over the speakers best. Can't hang a manifold from the ceiling (WAF)
