They look too good to be true....The specs are fine. For the price I suggest buying a pair to play with. If they do the job well you may have discovered the deal of the century and will need to buy more.....

Would you like me to charge you more for them? Pricing? Believe it. I'm not after profit - I just do it for the toys! IB? Not sure. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance/time to get into this realm yet. But based on my tests with bass reflex, the drivers are punchy and louuud... I pumped 250 watts into them and they weren't stressed at all. I also have a couple of 20" units I'm playing with, but nothing that would be worthwhile for IB IMO... I'd be happy to supply a "test" unit to someone who wants to put it through the IB paces and report their results tho. Best regards, Mark

If these work you may find yourself swamped with orders.
Are you able to handle large orders or do you have limited stock?
I ask this because many vendors do this on their free time, sell drivers, make customers wait months for delivery, and then stop offering their products.
If these things work well I can see many orders of 4-8 drivers each being made with word of mouth spreading like wild-fire.
You could find yourself with well over a hundred ordered.
Would this kill you?
I estimated shipping to my address at $205.00 usd for 8 of these things. That isn't too bad when combined with the price of the drivers.

I'd love to hear the results of a test. Any volunteers? Would someone possibly be able to test 2 drivers? Usually that's the minimum for an 18" IB.
If these turn out to be well suited for IB I may have to build a new manifold and cut a bigger hole in my ceiling. The wife will be thrilled!
Are you making any 15" drivers ;D

I'd be happy to supply a "test" unit to someone who wants to put it through the IB paces and report their results tho. I would love to beta test a pair of these 18's in an IB for you. I currently have a manifold with 15's, but I could remove it eaisly and do a temporary baffle with 2 of these 18's. The hole for my manifold is big enough to do a line array with 2. Just let me know what I need to do and if everything works out, I will post response plots with and without EQ or whatever people want. Thanks, and feel free to email me at osuhog@gmail.com or just reply here with any information you might have. Thanks! David

Would this kill you? I hear you on all counts. All I can say is this: I have 48 units that are ready to go (46 if you take away the ones I will ship out for IB testing). Manufacturing and shipping lead time is ~2 months but I can lean on the supplier to get it done sooner. ... And if they don't pan out, I'll still have 46 units ready to go. Regards, Mark

Hi David, Ok, two units it is. I will shoot you an email with some particulars and we'll take it from there. I'm going underground until next Tuesday so you won't be hearing from me until then. Constructive criticism is good - I for one appreciate it. So, if you find any quirks don't hesitate to speak up. You know, things like "wow this things rock!" and "awesome! I'll take ten!" are fine Regards, Mark

this driver should go with the steals deals and reccomended equipment eh? Canada day is 2 days away!!!! Having a low price doesn't automatically quality a product for the Steals and Deals page. When a product has proven it's worth, it's added to the steals and deals page.

While I'm new to this board, I very much agree with this statement. For all I know, this unit could be a lemon for IB. I just want to be sure that everyone understands where it is I'm coming from here and that there are no surprises if something(s) don't pan out they way one might expect them to (including me).
Regards, Mark

Frankly, I'm just happy to see these units being considered for something other than what I originally brought them in for. Best regards, Mark
