Perfection is the exact state of existence when no further improvement can be made. I think there will never be a truly "perfect" driver for any application. I think there are a handfull of very acceptable drivers on the market... soundsplinter, tc sounds, adire, ascendant audio (avalanche) mach5, etc.. and my opininion is that the qts should be under.6 or so. Xmax, the more the merrier, as long as the price allows for decent $/liters of dicplacement. Fs i have learnt is not all to important, and a sensitivity of 85db @ 1w/m or so is fine for sensitivity as IB's dont need as much power as other types of enclosures. I like matte black more than shiny cones.......

Fs in the low teens, Qts ~0.50, high Xmax, The thing is that there are workarounds or alternatives for drivers that aren't technically 'perfect'. As a result there are lots of drivers that will work just fine in an IB.
