I know many here have used the avalanches with great success. In fact that is one amazing driver still. How about the Atlas though?
I want to hear anyones thoughts on them that use or have used them.
Being able to alter the Q in the way you can with them, they seem interesting.

I have 4 Atlas 15's running from a ep1500 and I like them.
I cant say what other drivers sound like, because I have only heard these ones in ib setup. Ive never played around with the Q in anyway, just running the single coil for each driver.

My setup is similar to titch - 4 Atlas 15's with the 2ohm coils open. But I'm feeding them much less power. Still using a PE 250 watt plate amp that I had laying around.
They're really powerful, even with limited power. I don't want for more.

Well according to "Models" 250 watt should bring 4 to near linear excursion limits at 15hz anyway. they do model nicely, but that can be deceiving which is why I wanted some firsthand real world experience.
