I'm currently building a HT and need to build a sub. I would like to go IB if it's possible. My room size is 18'6" by 16' by 7'6" (2220cf). I have 2 Ava 15" sitting in my garage right now. Would they be sufficient. Or do I need to sell those and by 4 different subs. If anybody could help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I'd say stick with what you have. Build your IB with expansion in mind in case you feel you aren't getting enough out of your AVA's. You'll be able to add on later.

I think you'd be on the marginal side, but it depends on your wants/needs/expectations.
4-15" would certainly be enough. So as Mark indicated build a manifold that's sized to hold 4 drivers. Cap off 2 openings and give a listen with your current drivers.
Alternatively....
Build a manifold large enough to house 2-18" drivers. Try your 15"s in it. If they aren't enough, my guess is that a pair of 18"s would do the job. A pair of 18"s would be cheaper than 4-15"s

Thanks for the advice guys. I have another question. Is there any subs that would match the Ava 15"? I can't find anymore Ava's. If I could I would buy them and be done with it, but since I can't................

Matching them will be problematic. There are plenty of people interested in the Aves so I don't think you'd have a problem selling them. Look at the drivers from www.ficaraudio.com for higher Xmax units now. In a couple months Mark (Mach 5) is going to have a cast frame 18". Preliminary info looks good
