I have a limited space for an IB and I thought this driver would be a good choice considering the low Qts, low Vas, and decent Fs. The Xmax isn't as good as the more expensive drivers but considering this driver is less then half the price, it has cought my eye. It looks to be just as good as the IB version with less then half the Vas... Would this driver x2 be a good fit for my IB? www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=295-469

They're really good drivers, unfortunately their Xmax means one needs a bunch of them to get reasonable output in an IB.
If you have limited space to place the drivers I strongly recommend using drivers with much higher Xmax

Would a single Fi 18" Q series sub be better then 2 of these? 1 Fi 18" would be just a little more expensive then 2 of the PE 15's... Although I know you guys say I really need at least 2 drivers, in theory, would the Fi 18" perform better then 2 PE 15's?

The .Q series has even more Xmax than the SSD. So if it's within your budget to buy the .Q series, yes do it. They're very nice drivers.... Since you started a new thread I forgot about the amp situation. I'm not sure you'll be happy powering a pair of the .Q series with the ApexJr amp.

It's the Apex SR with more power but I think I have worked it out to sell that amp and go with something like the buttkicker BKA1000-4A . Have many peple had success with this amp? It's rated at 1000W into 4 ohms and 1900W into 2 ohms.

I'm aware of a number of people using the BK amp and they're pleased with it.
