I was brousing the net for some good value drivers to use for the IB project I'm planning. RobertJ at HTF mentioned quite a few people used these DB Drive subs for their IB's a while back however I could not find detailed info on these drivers or the TS specs. Does anyone have the specs archived?

After some serious searching I did find this but that's the only thing I found on the TS Specs: www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/showthread.php?t=189972Do these specs look about right from your memory? PL15D4 (Dual 4 ohm VCs) FS 23 QTS .41 QMS 6.45 QES .44 VAS 2.8 cu ft XMax .79inch (20mm, right?) RE 6.7 PE 2000 LE92 PL15D2 (Dual 2 ohm VCs) FS 24 QTS .38 QMS .44 QES .41 VAS 3.02 cu ft XMax .79 RE 3.8 PE 2000 LE 92 Are they IB worthy... and is that Vas value correct? 2.8cubic feet is only 79.29 Liters... If that's correct, this driver may be just right for me since I have very limited volume to work with on my rear wave area.

I don't think you are gonna find any... they were discontinued a long time ago.
Take a peek at the driver comparison chart links at the top of this page for good available drivers. Also look at the steals and deals link.

They work fine in a IB. I'm too old to keep T/S parameters stored in my memory for this long. In 2004/05 someone found these drivers and a bunch of people bought and used them. In those days we didn't have as extensive a gallery section, people weren't as good at providing pictures of their projects and we didn't have the map, so most of the users are unknown. Prototrax's IB is the only documented project we have

The old D4 specs you posted are the same as the ones that used to be on the driver comparison chart . . . don't know about the D2 There's an ebay vendor selling what appears to be a new model PLW15D4 for $167 but no TS specs there or on the DB website, so as Thomas suggested contacting DB for info is probably your best bet . . . stores.ebay.com/Factory-Direct-Car-Audio-and-Video

The only specs we ever had were from the db website, those appear to be gone.
The reason these were popular was the $125-$135ea closeout pricing in late 2004. As people started snapping them up at the closeout prices supply dried up, and the prices then when sky high, so people stopped buying them.

The same seller has the PL15's as well and he had them for $135 + shipping I think which seemed to be a pretty good deal for the amount of displacement you get. I think I'm going to try and track down a pair. How much power do I need for these?
