I tryed to hook up my EP-2500 and I got no signial light except wen I went into a test tone calibration mode and then it would just flash on and off. So I hooked up my buttkicker amp and hello doctor it came to life. Verry powerfull and clean sounding I think I will be sending the EP-2500 back!

Sounds like your input signal was too weak, did you try selecting the optional input sensitivity on the amp? Did you increase the output at the receiver for the LFE?

What Darren said.... the BK amp is designed for home audio so it's input sensitivity is different than the Behringer. Don't forget to put your info on the map...It's setup so you enter the info then I 'approve' it. That keeps the spammers out. www.frappr.com/ibcultusa

I didnot know there is an input sensitivity on the EP-2500 Where is it and how do I adjust it?? And yes I ran the sub out to +10
Also I have Tthe buttkicker powering only 2 subs right now and it dosent even get warm. It seems to be well built
I think I am going to get another buttkicker amp and run one pair of subs from 80-40hz and the other pair 40hz and below It is just a thought right now I dont know if it will cause canselation problems or not but I thought it would be eaiser on the subs and maby sound a bit better?? Any thoughts??

It's not something you can adjust. Prosound gear is frequently setup to receive a higher drive signal that some home gear can provide. The only way around this if this is your situation is to use a line level shifter. Those raise the output driver level from home gear to match the pro input. If you look in the middle of this FAQ page you'll see section called "Gotta Match?" There's info about line level matching devices there. home.comcast.net/~infinitelybaffled/page3IB-IBmanifold.htmlAlso make sure you have the switches on the back of the EP2500 properly set. Though I haven't added it to the FAQ Ebtech makes one of these devices too www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ebtech2ChannelLineLevelShifter?sku=189100

Actually I was thinking of the BFD if you have one in the mix... it has a button on back for the input sensitivity...
